This is a small hommage to this masterpiece.
It also can be repetitive tough.
I was just gonna say, it's quite a learning curve! Loads and loads of stuff to learn. But you know what, that's good. That's actually great! Games tend to be way too easy, lately. Easy entertainment, no challenge value at all, no lasting impression. It's so refreshing when you take a glance at an interface and you realise it'll take you a long time to master even just the basics of a game!
I wonder, which faction do you find most appealing, Tazio?
I love that aspect too. I've studied the manual a little bit, and I find the wiki rather useful. The game itself doesn't tell you what type of conditions give you victory, after all. You can go military conquest but I find that inelegant.
So obviously I have never played Hissho, Empire and Sheredyn.
I was first attracted by the Sophons' science affinity, but lately I've come to like the Pilgrims' spacefaring skills. In the last game I've played I did a custom race with the Pilgrim skin and the Sophon affinity, and took several traits that made them top spacefarers because I wanted to catch the three exploration achievements (explore a huge galaxy in 50 turns or less).
The customization options are impressive.
Too bad one can't use a custom species portrait or stuff like that. But oh well, that's just 'color' after all.
Hey, what's your profile on steam?
And if you wait for 4 hours, maybe you get Kentucky Route 0 for 9€.
If people vote it, that is. See you online!
